LESTER E. REED, 75, Hopi Drive, Orlando, died Saturday, April 20. Mr. Reed was a deputy bailiff for the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Born in Warsaw, Ind., he moved to Central Florida in 1969. He was Protestant.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: daughters, Donna Lee, Perrine, Leslie Genene Gorham, Clermont; sister, Stella Trost, Orlando; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren. Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Orlando.

When LESTER EUGENE REED was born on June 3, 1920, in Warsaw, Indiana, his father, LESTER, was 26 and his mother, RUTH, was 20. He married DOLORES ZOE KING on March 6, 1943, in Decatur, Alabama. They had two children during their marriage. They later divorced and on November 21, 1977, LESTER remarried CATHERINE MARIE CHALK. CATHERINE passed away prior to LESTER and he passed away on April 20, 1996, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 75.
