James W. Stegman

James W. Stegman, 72, of Chillicothe, Ohio, went home to be with Our Lord, Saturday morning, Jan. 29, 1994, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1921, in South Bend, Ind., to Herbert and Louise Bujack Stegman.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and George Duck, Patty and Dennis Blake; stepdaughter, Susan Vilaplana; grandchildren, Bethany and James Duck, and Matt and Cortney Blake.

He was predeceased by a stepson, Scott Oliver.

Mr. Stegman was a pilot in the Army Air Corp., during World War Il and had been awarded several metals for valor in Italy. He was a member of the Salem Community Church and was a retired professional engineer with Martin Marietta.

He was a graduate of Purdue University. Graveside services are to be held 1 p.m. Wednesday in Forrest Hill Cemetery, North Canton. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
