Paul H. Anderson, 66, of 3515 S. St. Joseph St., died at 1 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Anderson was a pattern maker and machinist for Sibley Machine & Foundry Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1984. He was born Dec. 19, 1920, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On March 30, 1946, in South Bend, he married Irene E. Boocher, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, David of Granger and James "Jim" of Osceola; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Pletcher of Vandalia and Betty Barnhart of Hammond; two brothers, Wayne of South Bend and Fred of Clearwater, Fla.; and his mother, Bessie Anderson of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Southlawn Cemetery, There will be no visitation. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360 and United Auto Workers 183 Retirees.
