Clement Francis Bailey. 66. of Palm Desert died March 10 at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. Services were held March 12 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palm Springs. He was born in Fort Wayne. Ind.. and had lived here for several years.

Mr. Bailey was a freelance writer for Miller Magazines for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Miriam: a daughter, Connie Lien of Stockton; his mother. Agnes L. Bailey of Palm Springs, and a sister. Betty Jean Bailey of Palm Springs.

Burial was at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City.
