Mary Alice (Gregory) Crawford

May 28, 1920 – Nov. 29, 2004 Mary Alice Crawford, 84, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away peacefully Monday evening, Nov. 29, in Hospice House. Born May 28, 1920, in South Bend, to the late Albert M. and Mable Leona (Watkins) Gregory.

On August 31, 1946, in South Bend, she married Ralph Dale Crawford, who died in 1991. Also preceding her in death, was a brother, Albert M. Gregory Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Jenner (Earl) of South Bend; and a son, Robert K. Crawford (Judy Gushwa) of Osceola; five grandchildren, Ronald James Goodsell of South Bend, Melinda Bigalke of South Bend, Mark Crawford (Corey Meersman) of South Bend, Rhonda Irwin (Paul) of Mishawaka, and Laurie Lawson (Chris) of Granger; thirteen great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Cody, Scott, Kaitlin, Dylan, Ronald Jr., Sarah, Bradley, Christopher, Eric, Tyler and Ben; nephews, Lloyd, Clark, Charlie, and Bruce Crawford; a niece, Pam Crawford; and one great- nephew, Travis Washington.

Mrs. Crawford worked for the former National Bank and Trust Co. (Wells Fargo) and she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2004, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Pastor Robert Renner of Granger Missionary Church officiating. Burial will be at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit with the family today from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
