William C. Johnson

SOUTH BEND - William C. Johnson, 75, of North Ironwood Drive, died at 9:30 p.m.

Thursday in his home after an illness. Mr. Johnson retired in 1985 from South Bend Lathe after 43 years of service as a machinist. He was born Oct. 15, 1920, in South Bend.

On March 5, 1955, in South Bend, he married Audrey L. Robinson. She survives with two daughters, Jeanne Rappelli and toure Schirripa, both of Granger; grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Inglis of Cleveland and Judith Ice of South Bend; and a brother, Harold of South Bend.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road. Cremation will take place, with burial in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call an hour before services in the funeral home.
