Chester E. Kistler

SOUTH BEND - Chester E. Kistler, 89, passed away May 24, 2009, in South Bend, Indiana. He was born June 24, 1919, to Warren and Ethel Kistler in Logansport, Indiana.
He married Mary Louise Donahue in 1941 and together they had two sons and a daughter. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; and children, James (Katy) Kistler of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Daniel (Carol) Kistler of Asheville, North Carolina, and Kathy (Tim) McDonald of South Bend, Indiana; four granddaughters, one grandson and two great-granddaughters.
Chet was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a co-partner of Imagineering Enterprises in South Bend, Indiana, and he was a longtime member at the Morris Park Country Club and South Bend Turners.
On Monday, June 1st, visitation will be held one hour before services in Little Flower Catholic Church, with a memorial Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m., with cemetery services to follow.
