Catherine A. (Knepp) Hill

Catherine Alice Hill, 76, of Buchanan, Mich., died of natural causes at 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, Ind. Catherine was a member of Buchanan Moose Lodge, the Wednesday Afternoon Book Club Buchanan Business and Professional Women's Association. She was the director of the Buchanan Senior Citizens Center for many years, and was past owner and manager of the Hills Haven Mobile Home Park. Catherine was born on Nov. 21, 1921, in South Bend, Ind., and had lived in Buchanan since 1956.

In 1956, in South …Bend, Catherine married Seymour "Red" Hill, who preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1969.

She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Gills of North Hollywood, Calif., and Marilou Nelson of South Bend; and by six nieces, Karen Vesley, Kathleen Gillis and Kim Giles, all of California, Kerrie Goldstein of New York, Beth Cehovic of Granger, Ind., and Brenda Pawell of Teegarden, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday in the Hoven Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. V.isitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Buchanan Moose Lodge or to the Business Professional Women's Club of Buchanan
