Anna J. (Minnes) Saboski
Nov. 8, 1921 - May 25, 1999
Anna Saboski, age 77, of N. Edison Ave., South Bend, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. She was born on November 8, 1921, in Ligonier, IN and I lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Saboski retired from the St. Joseph County Welfare Department and was a former employee of the South Bend Tribune. She was an avid White Sox fan.
On October 12, 1942, as Anna Minnes, she married Albert L. Saboski, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Albert (Robin) Saboski of Columbia City, IN, Jim (Nanette) Saboski and Jerry (Cindy) Saboski, both of South Bend.
Preceding Mrs. Saboski in death were a brother Louis Minnes, who died in 1998; and a sister, Marie Weddle, who died in 1968.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund.
Grandma Through all of the memories we have shared .. The fun times we had. Thoughts of you will always be here in our hearts. Although you are gone, the memories will never fade, you will always part of us. We love you dearly, and don't ever forget that. Grandma, things will never be the same
