George Rollin Slocum

ELKHART — George R. Slocum, 85, died at 11:35 p.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Carole J.(Leo P.) Howard of Oklahoma City, OK; stepdaughters, Barbara M.(Bill) Potter of Edwardsburg and Harrietta (Larry) Teeter of Noblesville; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m.Friday in Seventh-day Adventist Church, Elkhart. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.today in Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, and one hour before services in the church
