Leona A. Bidlack, 80, of Bremen, Ind., passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, Feb. 9, in Hospice House of South Bend, Ind. Leona was born on Nov. 3, 1921, in South Bend, as the daughter of the late Edward and Ella (Manthay) Tesmer. Leona was also preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Tesmer.

On June 24, 1944, in South Bend, as Leona Tesmer, she married Kenneth F. Bidlack, who also preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 2001.

Leona is survived by one son, Gerry (Connie) Bidlack of Granger, Ind.; two grandchildren, David (Renee) Krug of Phoenix, Ariz., and Chris (Dawn) Krug of Osceola, Ind.; and by five greatgrandchildren, Kelsey, Hayden, Mason, Danielle and Conner Krug.

Leona was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Woodland, and the A.A.R.P. She was a registered nurse and worked in Dr. Cline's office for 25 years before retiring in 1986.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 12th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Padberg officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leona's memory may be made to the Hospice of Marshall County, 112 South Center Street, Plymouth, IN 46563..
