Victoria (Capatina) Hildebrand

Victoria Hildebrand, 74, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. She was born June 21, 1922, in Youngstown, Ohio. On Aug. 5, 1949, in South Bend, as Victoria Capatina, she married John O. Hildebrand, M.D., who preceded her in death on March 23, 1995.

She is survived by four daughters, Kristine Courtney, M.D., of Carmel, Jacqueline Stein of New York City, and Katherine Hildebrand and Karen Pugliese, *both of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mary Klaer of Las Vegas, Nev.; and by three grandsons,

Services will 3 p.m. on Thursday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, with Rev. Steven M. Mullin officiating. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum, South Bend. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
