MISHAWAKA - Services for Clarence Aylesworth Clark, 68, of 622 W. Jefferson Blvd., Lot 9, who died at 11:20 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, following an illness, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Mr. Clark was a co-manager at Princess City Mobile Home Park in Mishawaka and retired from Dodge Reliance Inc. in 1987 after 20 years as a security guard. He was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Logansport, Ind., and spent most of his life in this area.

On May 28, 1988, in Mishawaka, he married the former Gloria Frost. She survives, along with two daughters, Cheri Haggerty and Marjory, both of South Bend; three sons, Clarence Jr. of Fort Wayne, Tim of Hawaii, and Phillip of North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Collins of South Carolina, and Theresa Pehling of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; and six step grandchildren:

He was an Army veteran of World War IL. He was an Indiana High School Athletic Association official umpire and referee until 1987. He was a member of Post 50 American Legion of South Bend where he was a life member and past commander, an Eagle scout and scout leader of Troop 452 of South Bend, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post No. 1167 of South Bend
