Hildegard H. (Csenar) Zemlyak

SOUTH BEND Hildegard H. Zemlyak, 68, of 1903 S. Franklin St., died Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Zemlyak retired as a legal secretary for Fred Baer. She was born Sept. 13, 1922, in South Bend.

On May 18, 1946, in South Bend, as Hildegard Csenar, she married John Zemlyak. He survives with three daughters, Marva White of Woodstock, Ill.; and Marilyn Zemlyak and Jane Zemlyak, both Mishawaka; two sons, Michael of Elkhart and James of Chicago; grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Lewallen of South Bend.

She was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, St. Anthony Society Ladies Auxiliary, Mayor's Housing Forum, Rum Village Neighborhood Association, Cursillo and Citizens for the Triple A Expansion Committee for Coveleski Stadium.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where members of the ladies auxiliary will say a rosary at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church repair fund
