Robert E. Fetters

Robert E. Fetters, 59, of 2640 Cypress Way, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 30, 1982, in St. Joseph's Medical Center after being ill for several months. He was supervisor of production control of the Dodge Corp. for 40 years and past commander of American Legion Post 50. He was born Jan. 25, 1923, in South Bend, and lived in South Bend all his life. .His wife, Audrey H. Hartley, died Dec. 11, 1979.

He is survived by two stepsons, Richard E. Moffett of Mishawaka and James L. Moffett of South Bend; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.Ruth Smith of South Bend; and a brother, Richard B. of East Lansing, Mich.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd.

He was a member of American Legion Post 50 and the VFW Post 1167. He was a World War II veteran, haying served with the Navy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
