James A. Floran

James A. Floran, 60, of the Southern Hotel, 124 W.' Tutt, was found dead in his room at noon Tuesday, Sep 8, 1982, after an apparent heart attack. He was born July 14, 1922, in North Liberty and was an area resident most of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Prescott of South Bend; a stepmother, Mrs. Arthur Floran of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Archer of South Bend and Ms. Penny Sue Floran; three sons, David of Valparaiso and Arthur and Arden both of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Mable Fenske of South Bend; * and a stepsister, Mrs. Pat Robinson of Bluffton, Ohio.

Private memorial services were to be held at 4 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., with Rev. George Bennett, pastor, of Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will take place
