MISHAWAKA Maxine Adel (La Rue) Gerard, 78, of Winchester Court, died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Peterson of Taylors, S.C., and Rebekah Peterson of Lyman, S.C.; three sons, Joseph of South Bend, Stephen of Springfield, Ohio, and Philip of Conyers, Ga.; a sister, Phyllis Schoff of Dowagiac; and a brother, Herbert La Rue of Apache Junction, Ariz.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday
