James Richard Riddle

James Richard Riddle, 61, of Palo Alto, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died Friday in Palo Alto. Mr. Riddle was an engineer for Lockheed Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif. He was born June 11, 1926, in South Bend and lived in South Bend until 1950.

He is survived by two daughters, Susan Riddle of South Bend and Lisa Riddle of Long Beach, Calif.; a son, Andy of Mishawaka; a sister, Phyllis Silverstein of North Haven, Conn.; and a brother, David of Hermosa Beach, Calif.

He was a graduate of the University of Texas, El Paso.

There are no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Roller-Hapgood & Pinney Mortuary, Palo, Alto, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be.made to the American Lung Association
