D'Ann S. Bayman (nee Dorothy Ann Swanson)

D'Ann S. Bayman (nee Dorothy Ann Swanson) was called home by the Lord on December 15, 2011. She was born March 11, 1922, in South Bend, IN, to the late Carl Alex and Olive Culp Swan-son. She was also preceded in death by brother Carl Swanson, and John Bayman, to whom she was married in 1942. She resided in the South Bend area most of her life, in Washington state, and most recently in Simpsonville. She was retired from Battell Center, Mishawaka, IN.

Surviving are 4 children: Mike (Judy),  Simpsonville, Tricia, Staten Island, NY, Jeff, Seattle, WA, and Chris (Wendy) Bayman, Tacoma, WA, 5 grand-children, and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church. She was accomplished on piano and organ, loved traveling, word games, and making needlepoint. She was a 60-plus year member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority.

A memorial service will be held at the church on December 27, 2011, at 11:03 am. Memorial donations may be made to Simpsonville UMC, 215 S.E. Main St., Simpsonville, SC 29681.
