October 23, 1959 ~ January 19, 2025
Donald D. Enyeart of South Bend, 65, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday January 19th, 2025 surrounded by family. Donald was born on October 23rd, 1959 to the late Jack and Rose Mary Enyeart. He was a loving Brother to his surviving sister Dawn (James Mustak), and the coolest Uncle to his surviving Nieces April (Josh Gibson), Nicole Mustak, and Andrea Enyeart. He has one Nephew, the late David Enyeart. His surviving Great Nieces include Aleah, Breana, and Sabrina along with his Great Nephews Kaden, Karter, Calvin Jr, Landon, and Noah. Donald’s other surviving family include 12 cousins and their family plus 1 surviving Aunt along with his Ex-Spouse Deborah. He was also a devoted Dad to his feisty cat Tuesday and his laid back tortoise Elvis.
Donald was loved by all that met him. His best friends include Pat McKelvey, Richard Sellers, Jeff (aka Earl) Watkins, Curt Jacobi, Kent and Alex Looty (Alex knew him as Uncle Don), Phil and his wife Jeanette Graves, Jim Brown, and Kevin West. More friends include Otto R, Jay B, Matt T, Lynne Henry Z, Chris M, Dawn S, Nick D, Cynthia F-P, Mike G, Don G, Dave G, Bob S, Robert T, Amy L, Timothy B, Bob R, Brett G, Mary S, Patty L, Alice L, Fred T, Charles P, Terry and Dana R, Craig M, Jeff S, Mark S, Chuck C, Joe W, Steve M, Sue K, Joe Y, Kim M and many many more.
In Don’s younger days, he played basketball, baseball, and ran track. He attended Riley High School where he graduated in 1979.
Donald’s love was riding his Harley motorcycle who he called his “Girlfriend”, they would go everywhere together. His favorite rides were to Sturgis, South Dakota for Bike Week. He went 14 times and he proudly won 1st place twice for the loudest motorcycle. He enjoyed his trucks, Dodge was his favorite. Don’s nickname was Donald Duck but he was famous for being known as PYRO, he was thee firework man and boy did he know how to put on a good show! Donald was also a HUGE Notre Dame, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs fan and his favorite snack was popcorn.
Donald was a blast to be around and a jokester, he always had a funny joke to tell. He also liked to hand out pet rocks which were always a hit with the kids! But most of all, Donald was a loyal and caring man with a huge heart, he’d give you the shirt off of his back without hesitation. His unwavering love for his family and friends was the cornerstone of his life. His legacy filled with endless memories will live in their hearts forever.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Davita Irish Dialysis and the entire staff. You were his home away from home and they can’t thank you enough for all that you did for Donald.
In keeping with family wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be announced by his sister Dawn in the Spring.
