Darl J. "Jerry" Chamberlain

Darl (Jerry) Chamberlain, 71, of Mascoutah, died Saturday, April 3, 1993 at USAF Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base. He was a retired CMSgt. from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran. He later worked for General American Insurance, Co. in St. Louis for 8 years and for Magna Bank in Belleville for 11 years; a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darl J. and Esther M. Chamberlain; and three sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy V., nee Rasmussen, Chamberlain; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Cheryl Chamberlain of O'Fallon, Douglas and Tisa Chamberlain of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Kay Ann Griesinger of Mishawaka, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah with Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church.
