GASOLINE TRUCK AUTO CRASH FATAL.
SOUTH BEND Ind March 24, 1949 (AP) Leo Hintz 28 of suburban Roseland died this morning of injuries suffered last night when his car and a gasoline trdck collided here Several hundred gallons of gasoline flowed onto Western Avenue as the truck tore away the corner of a bakery and struck two other cars and a light truck before the driver brought it under control. The driver James D Randall 31 Elkhart was shaken up. He was driving for the Hughes Brothers Company of Elkhart
Police said Hintz failed to give right of way to the gasoline truck. Hintz was hurled from his car which rolled over him.
