Edward Jerzakowski

Edward Jerzakowski was killed almost instantly Sunday, Mar 16, 1941, when an automobile in which he was riding wth three other youths skidded on ice and overturned at a curve in Dowagiac. The youth was riding wih his brother. Chester, Leonard Sharafinski, and Robert Millenberger, The three others in the car suffered only rninor bruises and from shock.

According to the Sheriff of Cassopolis, Mich., Millenberger apparently lost control of his car when it skidded on tie ice, and it turned over. Jerzakowski died from a fractured skull as he was being taken to Lee Memorial hospital in Dowagiac. The boys wefe en route to Niles, Mich., when the accident occurred

Mr. Jerzakowski was born in South Bend May 8, 1919. He graduated from Riley High school in 1939.

-Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. CasimirJerzakowski, Sr.; two brothers Chester and Casimir, jr., and sisters, Lucille, Henrietta, Florence. Jeanette .-and Mary Lou Jerzakowski and Mrs. Pauline Horvath.
