Thomas H. Klausmeyer

SOUTH BEND - Thomas H. Klausmeyer, 71, of Berkley, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich. Mr. Klausmeyer retired in 1984 as the director of analytic planning for Smith, Hinchman & Gryllis, Detroit, and was a professor of architecture at Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Mich., from 1985 to 1992.
He was born Oct. 19, 1921, in Highland Park, Mich., and lived in South Bend from 1925 to 1948. In 1947 he married Doris Irene Pfaffenbach. She survives with two sons, John of Ann Arbor and William of Palm City, Fla; and two grandsons.
He was a graduate of Purdue University and a veteran of the Air Force.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, Berkley. Entombment will be in Roseland Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Berkley. Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
