Kathryn Helen (Mageau) Spencer

Kathryn Helen Spencer born in South Bend, Indiana and was the daughter of Adelard Joseph and Gertrude Mageau. 

Kathryn attended Purdue University and attained degrees in Chemistry and Home Economics. On November 21, 1942, Kathryn married Hugh Burns Spencer. During World War II she worked at Studebaker as a chemist, helping to build bomber engines. After Hugh completed medical school and residency, the family moved to Oklahoma.

Kathryn is survived by daughters Annie Mocha of Tulsa, Kitty (Ricky) Snyder of Chicago, Chris (Mack) Harris of Oklahoma City, five grandchildren, and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Betty Rollf.
