Jack M. McCune

SOUTH BEND - - Services for Jack M. McCune, 72, of MacGregor Street, who died Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hospital after an illness, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Ridgedale Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and one hour before services Wednesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or any charity. Mr. McCune retired from Associates Investment Co. after 28 years of service and retired in 1978 from Indiana Toll Road after 10 years of service.

He was born June 24, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Oct. 30, 1952, in South Bend, he married Betty Hathaway. She survives with a daughter, Susan McCune of South Bend; a son, Richard of Mishawaka; a stepmother, Phyllis McCune of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a brother, Earl of South Bend.

A son, Gary Lee, preceded in death.

He served as a deacon and trustee of the church and was a veteran of World War II
