Doris Marie (Miller) Schafer

WAKARUSA — Doris M. Schafer, 85, died Sunday in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Survivors include her husband, James; six sons, Michael Lukens of Lake Worth, Fla., Bruce Schafer of Colorado Springs, Colo., Brian Schafer of Nashville, Tenn., James Thompson of Universal City, Texas, and Ronald Thompson and Dennis Thompson, both of Florida; a sister, Helen Shields of Bremen; and a brother, Bob Miller of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Nappanee United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
