Florence K. (Paar) Kirsits

Florence K. Kirsits, 58, of 2025 S. Swygart, died at 12:35 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was employed by the South Bend School Corp. with the Title I program. Mrs. Kirsits was born on Sept. 19, 1920, in South Bend, and lived here all her life.

On June 21, 1941, as Florence Paar she married John Kirsits, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Anita Kirsits, and a son, John D., both of Chicago, and three brothers, Harold and Robert Paar, both of South Bend, and Steve Paar of Niles, Ill.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednedsay in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Lallak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the Zahoran Funeral Home where members of the Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 8:30 p.m. today; a parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Kirsits was a past president of the D.F.V. German Club Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society and the Legion of Mary.
