Paul J. Schwind

Paul J. Schwind, 42, of 2819 Beechwood Lane, died at 8 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness of two and one-half months. He was born in South Bend on March 3. 1921, and had lived his lifetime here.

He married Audrey DeMan on May 10, 1952, in South Bend.

Mr. Schwind was an industrial designer for the Kawneer Co., Niles, Mich. He was vice-president of the South Bend Figure Skating Club.

He is survived by his widow; his parents, Paul A. Schwind and Mrs. L. A. Schwind, both of South Bend; a son, Kurt, at home; a daughter, Susan, of Milwaukee, Wis., and a brother, Robert of South Bend.

Visitors will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Hollis Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Charles Franklin Bruce, pastor of the Ridgedale Presby: terian Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Donald Smith, Jerry Michaels, Lester Anderson, Albert Poelvoorde, Louis Walz, Richard Towner, John Trulson and Theodore Carlson
