Virginia M. (Slauson) Gentner

OSCEOLA - Virginia M. Gentner, 73, of 54651 Buckeye Road, died at 5:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Gentner was born April 22, 1921, in Argos and was a lifetime area resident.

On April 19, 1952, in Osceola, she married Kenneth E. Gentner. He survives with four daughters, Mary Bellamy of Middiebury, H. Jean Wright of Redondo, Calif., Joyce Kuehl of South Bend and Nila Davis of Goshen; a son, Kenneth E. Jr. of Osceola; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Wigent of South Bend; and a brother, Wayne Slauson of Westville, Fla.

She was a member of World Wide Church of God.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Warner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
