Elaine H. Hanna, 526 Southmore Ave., died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel F. Snyder Sr., 1908 E. Calvert St., after an illness of eight months. She was born in Coldwater, Mich., Sept. 23, 1921, and came to South Bend 33 years ago from there.

Surviving are four sons, David and Larry Garbacz, both of South Bend; Cris and William Hanna, both at home; a sister, Mrs. William Foster, of Lansing, and a brother, Hershel F. Snyder Jr., of South Bend.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. C. L. Hendrix, pastor of All Saints Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park
