Helen Katherine (Wensits) Eby

SOUTH BEND - Helen Katherine Eby, 75, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, formerly of Bellevue Avenue, died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mrs. Eby retired in 1987 from Charismatic Renewal Services after 14 years of service as ; a clerk in accounts receivable. She was born July 13, 1920, in South Bend.

On April 26, 1941, in South Bend, Helen K. Wensits, she married Roger W. Eby. He died March 17, 1957.

She is survived by three daughters, Helen Marie Eby of Long Beach, Calif., Judy Kay Weddle of South Bend, and Donna Eby of Greenville, S.C.; a son, Joseph R. of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Jordan Bend; and two brothers, John Wensits of Mishawaka and Emrich Wensits of South Bend.

She was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to p.m. Tuesday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
