R. Kenneth Yeakel

Russell Kenneth Yeakel, 51, Hickory Corners, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died early today in Leila Hospital, Battle Creek, Mich., after an extended illness.. He was born Aug. 14, 1920 in Kentucky, and had lived in Hickory Corners seven years, coming from South Bend.

He had been a local commercial artist and retoucher for the past 12 years. He was a World War II veteran.

He married Ann Milewski on March 4, 1942 in South Bend. She survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Richmond; a son, Kenneth, both of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Edith Boenne of Cloverport, Ky. and a brother, Charles of Florida.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Williams Funeral Home, Delton, Mich
