James Everett Countryman

James Everett Countryman, 41, of 506 W. Marquette Ave., died of a heart attack at 5:15 p.m. Monday. in the Bendix Aviation Corps. Missile plant in Mishawaka. He was born in Lincoln. Ind. April 28, 1916, and had lived in South Bend since 1924 coming here from Logansport.
On May 10, 1941, in South Bend he married Dorothy L. Goron, who survives. Mr. Countryman had been a maintenance foreman. for. the last six years.
Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Countryman, of South Bend; a daughter, Jane Ann; and a son; Larry James, both at| home; a brother, Clarence M., and a sister, Mrs. P. H. Stroup, both of South Bend.
Friends may call after 1 p. m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Services will be held in Immanuel Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. James E. Cheney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery,
Mr. Countryman was a trustee of the church and a member of St. Joseph Lodge 45, F & A.M. Knight: Templar, and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of South Bend and Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Mr. Countryman was also member of South Bend Chapter 29, Royal Arch Masons, and South Bend Council 82, Royal and Select Masons.
