Jack D. Gibboney Sr.
Nov 23, 1915 -- April 26, 1991

South Bend -- Jack D. Gibboney Sr., 75, of 4360 Wimbleton Court, died at 1:15 a.m. today in Medco Center. Mr. Gibboney retired in 1974 from the Bendix Corp after 38 years of service. He was born Nov. 23, 1915 in Kokomo and lived in South Bend most of his life.

On March 7, 1936, in South Bend, he married Anita M. Myers. She survives with three sons, Jack D. Jr. Of Granger, and Richard L and Gary M., both of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, June Arie of Largo, Fla.; and a brother, Richard R. of Torrance, Calif.

Private services will be held. Cremation will take place with entombment at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. There will be no visitation. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
