William H. Lattimer

SOUTH BEND - William H. Lattimer, 73, of 1907 Denslow Drive, died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lattimer was the former owner of Lattimer Studios in South Bend and Elkhart, retiring in 1977. He was born Jan. 24, 1916, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 6, 1939, in South Bend, he married Sarah Jane Leslie. She survives, along with a daughter, Sue Ellen Carder of Granger; four grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Ream of Memphis, Tenn.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, St. Joseph Lodge 45, receiving the Grand Lodge Award of Gold in 1988, a 50-year member of Order of DeMolay, past president of Professional Photographers of Indiana, and member of Professional Photographers of America Inc., and Daguerre Club of Indiana. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory.
