Robert C. Rickel

Robert C. Rickel, 59, of 902 E. Victoria, died at 7:48 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a five week illness. Rickel was a retired Bendix Corp. employe, having there 41 years. Born on Jan. 23, 1916, in Muskegon, Mich., he had lived here 55 years, coming from Michigan.

On Sept. 29, 1939, in Jeffersonville, he married Allie Decker, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert D. of Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Bronson of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren a sister, Mrs. K. W. Pratt of Bremen.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel. Rev. Roy Eaton, pastor of All Saints-Stull United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Bowman Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
