William A. Barber
William A. Barber, a lifelong resident of South Bend, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on October 7, 1962, to Larry and Sherry (Smith) Barber, William was a graduate of Riley High School. He was a selfless, dedicated father and family man.
William was a talented, hardworking, and thoughtful man. He was a passionate music lover, avid coin collector, dedicated sports fan, DIY'er and Sci-Fi enthusiast. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His generous nature and kindhearted soul were irreplaceable.
He is survived by his loving children; Madelyn Barber, Danielle Hosinski, Lucas Barber, Carlie Barber, and Megan Lively, sisters, Rebecca Witt and Deborah Schmitt, nieces Sydney Varga and Alexandria Witt. William's memory will be treasured and kept alive through the stories and laughter he shared with his beloved family.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday October 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home ~ Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka, IN 46545. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday October 14, 2024, friends may gather with the family one hour prior at Bubb Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
