Harold O. Thompson

Word has been received of the death of a former Marionite. Harold O. Thompson, 56, of Pomona, Calif. He died Sunday, Jan 25, 1970,  at 11:15 a.m. in Long Beach General Hospital after a two-year illness.

He was born May 23, 1913, to Jeff C. and Mabel Katherine Wood Thompson in Marion County. His father survives in Hammond. Ind. Mr. Thompson was employed as a radio and television repairman and was a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he leaves two brothers. Stanley Thompson of Cincinnati and Thomas R. Thompson of South Bend, IN., and two sisters, Mrs. James Morey of Hammond. IN. and Miss Josephine Thompson of Mantino, IL.

Rev. Marvin Crabtree will conduct the funeral service Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Lucas Funeral Home in Morral. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Marion. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday
