Willard H. Behrenbruch

Willard H. Behrenbruch was born in Chicago, III. on October 30, 1916. He died August 8, 2001 at home in California after a long illness. He was a long time resident of South Bend. He graduated from Riley High School in the class of 1935. He was employed by the Post Office in South Bend for 31 years.

On March 14, 1941, he married Mildred Steele who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Kathleen Hindman of Wellsboro, Pa., and a son, William of Santa Paula, Calif.; six granddaughters, Jane E. Hindman of San Diego, Calif.,' Joanne Hindman of Brooktondale, NY, Janet Begnoche of Brockport, N.Y., Dr. Kelly Barki of Pittsburgh, Pa., Natasha Hindman of Philadelphia, Pa., and Rosann at home in Wellsboro, Pa; and two greatgrandchildren.

All of this family were members of Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church until he retired and they moved to California.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice or to a charity of your choice. A "Remembrance" visitation will be provided at 1513 Fellow Street, in South Bend on Saturday, September 8, 2001 from 2 to 4 p.m: Friends and family are invited. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is handling the local.
