Roy C. Mullins

Msgt (Ret.) Roy C. Mullins, 66, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, surrounded by family at Memorial Hospital.

Roy was born April 11, 1950, in Tazewell, Virginia, the son of the late Dock Crate and Estelle Rebecca (Altizer) Mullins. He grew up in St. Augustine and was a 1969 graduate of St. Augustine High School. Eager to serve his country, Roy joined the United States Marine Corps in 1970 and served until 1994, including Desert Shield/Storm 1990-91.
