Sandra Lee St. Germain, passed away on April 17, 2026, in Mishawaka, Indiana, at the age of 82. She was born on November 30, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, to Edward and Elsie (Magnuson) Vander Hagen.

After graduating from Riley High School, Sandra began working as a bookkeeper and accounting assistant. She approached her work with care and reliability, and her strong sense of responsibility served her well throughout her life.

Sandra married Lawrence St. Germain in 1962, and together they shared nearly 64 years of marriage. Larry survives her, along with their daughters, Kim (Brian Bayless) Adami-Bayless, Kristi (Jason) Scott, and Kat (Chet) Pierce. Sandra also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, T.J. (Savannah) Adami, Ashlyn (Ethan Merrill) Adami, Tristan (Fernanda) Adami, Michael (Ana Mitchell) Adami, Bekah (Kaleb Waikel) Scott, Abby Scott, Brad (Eden Alejo) Pierce, and Wes Pierce. She was a proud great-grandmother to Maddie and Elena. She is also survived by her sister, Vicky Wigent and her husband Don, as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandra enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved going for walks. She found joy in simple pleasures and treasured time spent with family and friends. One of her favorite places was The Curve Cafe in Mishawaka, where she loved sharing breakfast and conversation with those she cared about. She also had an interest in researching health supplements, reflecting her ongoing curiosity and concern for well-being. An avid animal lover, Sandra cared deeply about the welfare of animals. She especially adored her dog, Chloe, and her cat, Tigger, who brought her comfort and companionship. Her love for animals was just one more reflection of her gentle heart and compassionate nature.

A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held on Friday, May 1st, at 5:30pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4-5:30pm in the funeral home. Donations in Sandra’s honor may be made to Reigning Cats and Dogs Rescue, 9665 US-20, Angola, IN 46703. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the St. Germain family.
