ANDERSON, FREDERICK W., 82, of Clearwater, died Thursday (Sept. 14, 2000) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. He was born in South Bend, Ind., and came here in 1962 from Indiana. He was a tool and die maker and worked for seven years at Genca, Largo. He was an Army veteran and a first sergeant in the 396th Armored Field Artillery during World War II.

He was Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Lorna; a son, William Scott, Fort Mill, S.C.; a brother, Wayne, South Bend; and two sisters, Betty Barnhart, Hammond, Ind., and Ruth Pletcher, Vandalia, Mich. National Cremation Society, Largo.
