Logan P. Donathan Sr., 63, of Berea, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died at 4 a.m. Friday in Southwest General Hospital, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.

He was an employee of General Motors, Fisher Body Division. Born on July 26, 1917, in South Bend, he had lived here most of his life.

His wife, the former Ann Ventrella, survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Joan Angelo of Michigan; a son, Logan P. Jr. of Lakewood, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Hruska of South Bend, and Mrs. Tyrus Pisel of Florida.

Private services will be Monday in the Baker Funeral Home, Berea. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m.' EST Sunday in the funeral home.

He was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of St. Joseph Valley Masonic Lodge 45. He was a member of the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, and the Berea Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Elks
