Margaret Jane (Heinzman) Warner

Margaret Jane Warner , 86, of South Bend, passed away at 4:08 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2005, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

She was born November 13, 1918, in South Bend, to Charles and Mabel (Shedrick) Heinzman, and had remained a lifelong resident of this community. She graduated from James Whitcomb Riley High School, and was a charter member of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church.

On June 28, 1940, in South Bend, as Margaret Heinzman, she married Robert S. Warner. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage until his passing on November 23, 1991. Two brothers, George Heinzman and Louis Heinzman, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Warner is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Gail and Lewis Kimble of South Bend, and Judy and Robert Mark of Osceola. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kathy Lynne Helmen of Granger, Kristin Sherk of South Bend and Robert Klinger of Madison, WI; and three great-grandchildren.

Margaret was currently a member of Southlawn United Methodist Church, and was very grateful to her new church family who meant so much to her. She also loved the flowers around her house and enjoyed gardening.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
