Dennis L. Wright, 59, who resided on Albert Street, South Bend, Ind., departed this life on earth and entered heaven on Thursday, Nov, 7. in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Dennis was an associate minister of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he was also a member in good standing for the past 10 years. Prior to moving his membership, he was a long-standing member of Second Baptist Church. South Bend.

Dennis has been a born-again believer since before he left his home in Lake Village (Lake Port. Ark.). He was baptized by the late Rev. E.D. Handie. Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Lake Port, Ark.

Upon return to South Bend, he married his loving wife, Jacquelyn (Townsend) Wright. Dennis and Jacquelyn have shared the past 27 years together in love, Together, there were no children born to this union. Dennis has nine siblings born to Edward Wright Sr. and Gladys Wright.

Both parents preceded him in death.

Living in South Bend are Rose M. Brooks (Billie), Theresa A. Phelps., Darlene Martin, Yolanda Wright, Edward D. Wright Jr. (Pam), Samuel L. Wright Sr., Kevin R. Wright, Gary Wright Sr., and Barbara Brown (who preceded him in death), Dennis' biological father, Simuel Chase Sr. is living. Other siblings include Yolanda Brown. Simuel Chase Jr.. Derri Chase and Juanita Romney. Dennis has 27 children, with only 19 names : listed. Dennis' living children are LaJuana D. Wright, Deidre L. Wright, Lateesha D. Wright, Da'Net T. Jackson, Nina E: Mincey, Thomasena Y. Kennedy, Keanna Pack-Eby, Yolanda D. Kirtdoll, Tanika Wright, Paris Wright, Larinzo D. Wright, Andre Wilder, Dennis D. Kirtdoll, Jamil D. Jackson, Julian T. Stewart, Jeremy S. Stewart, Parker Wright, Dasata T. Wright and Dayton Kyle.

After his mother passed, his aunt, Thelma (Gruff) Crumbley, and the late Willie Crumbley raised him and his siblings. There are three aunts remaining, Elzonia® (Griffo) Adams (Sam), Thelma (Griffo) Crumbley and Margaret (Griffo) Thomas.

Dennis has host of close relatives, friends, 30 grandchildren and acquaintances. He never met anyone who would later forget about him. His deep compassion to help others and serve the needy will be missed. His cunning wit and gift of laughter will truly be missed. Dennis was the life of a family gathering, party or any event that he attended. No one was a stranger.

Visitation services for Dennis L. Wright will be held Monday, Nov, 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Second Baptist Church, 24828 Fillmore Road, South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow funeral services at Highland Cemetery, South Bend: The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements
