Judy Ann (Weaver) Hall
Oct. 15, 1946 - May 15, 1998
The good Lord ended the pain and suffering of Judy Ann Hall on May 15, 1998, after an 8 1/2 year battle with Cortical Basal Ganglionic Degeneration. A lifetime resident of South Bend, most recently on Saturn Court, Judy was the daughter of Helen Weaver of South Bend and Larry and Hilda Weaver of Citrus Springs, Florida. Judy was a graduate of Riley High School and Indiana University. Before taking disability retirement in June of 1995, she taught seventh grade literature at Schmucker Middle School.
In March 1964, she married Harold E. Dieu, who preceded her in death in 1982. On May 20, 1989, she married Robert V. Hall, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Robyn Lynn Weber of Helena, Mont., Sarah Ellen Brown of South Bend and Mary Rachel McCall of Chesterton, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Colleen Louise Ward of f South Bend, Deborah Lynn Lenoir of Tampa, Fla., and Brenda Lee Jewell of White Pigeon, Mich.
In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren: Max and Samara Brown of South Bend; Michael Chasey of Helena, Mont.; and Alex Kaye Ronchetti of Chesterton, Ind. Also surviving are 10 step-grandchildren: Matthew, Robert and Adam Ward of South Bend; Robert and Jeanine Hanks of South Bend; Renee and Timothy Lenoir of Tampa, Fla.; Scott, Ben and James Hall of White Pigeon, Mich. Also surviving are two brothers, Larry Weaver of South Padre Island, Texas, and Michael Weaver of Houston, Texas; and a sister, Susan Stanton of South Bend. Also surviving are 12 nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road, just west of Ironwood. Funeral services are at St. Joseph Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Following cremation, interment of ashes will be at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637
