David Alan Hall

October 22, 1954     ~     October 5, 2024

David Alan Hall, a cherished patriarch and esteemed stone mason, passed away at the age of 69 on October 5, 2024, in his hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Born on October 22, 1954, to the late S. Eugene and Marjorie (Gulatta) Hall, David's life was one of love, laughter, and craftsmanship. A state wrestler in his youth and proud Army vet, he enjoyed fishing, hot rods, and Harleys.

He especially loved his kids. David’s legacy is carried on through his beloved children: Angela Hall of Los Angeles, CA; Christa Perfit of Brooklyn, NY; Joshua Hall of Plano, TX; and Nicholas Hall of Huntington Beach, CA, His strength and humor live on in his adored grandchildren: Ruby, Ivy, Oscar, Theodore, and Oliver.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Denise (Richard) Rinehart of Granger; Sandy (Bruce) Smith, and Cynthia Schock, both of South Bend; Suzanne (Mark) Bolenbaugh of Rochester Hills, MI; and Jonathan (Jennifer) Hall of Crane Hill, AL He loved only one woman, Linda Lee Hall. Preceded in death by his best friend, Bob Jellerson, and forever missed by his dear cousin, Larry Lancaster. His brothers Randall, Timothy, and Samuel await him at Heaven’s gates.

David could fix or build just about anything. A dedicated bricklayer, he built strong structures and enduring relationships with all who knew him. His skilled hands and caring heart left an indelible mark on the community he loved.

David also knew how to have a good time! To honor this and celebrate his life, a gathering will be held on Sunday, Oct 27, 2024, at 1pm. Crumstown Conservation Club  ~  59440 Crumstown Highway, North Liberty, IN  46554
