Jaida M. Jackson

January 24, 2007 ~ November 5, 2024 (age 17)

Jaida M. Jackson, aged 17, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2024, at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka, Indiana.

She was born on January 24, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Jaida was the beloved daughter of Jasmine and Povyel Miller, and biologically the daughter of Andre Jackson.

At the age of four, she began her educational journey at Nicholson Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois. Jaida became well-known among her teachers and classmates at Madison Elementary School in South Bend. It was during her time at Adams High School that she truly began to shine. In her senior year at Riley High School, Jaida's unique individuality set her apart from her peers. By the time she reached 17, she had held several jobs.

The radiance of Jaida's smile was unparalleled, and her steadfast faith in the Lord was a defining aspect of her character. Her bright smile and beautiful brown eyes had the power to illuminate the world around her. Jaida was known for her kindness and compassion, always exuding joy and genuinely caring for those around her.

She is survived by her loving parents, Jasmine Miller and Povyel Miller, as well as Andre Jackson. Jaida also leaves behind three sisters, Undriya, Amiya, and Dejah, and four brothers, Povyel Jr., Isaiah, Yahnis, and Adonis. Additionally, she is survived by two sisters, Emera and Emiha Jackson, her cherished grandmother Joanie Boone, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A memorial service in her memory will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, at 11 AM at Faith Apostolic Ministries.
