Robert Edward Wegner
November 24, 1935 ~ February 13, 2025
Robert Edward Wegner, 89, of Mishawaka. IN., passed away at 8:59 a.m. in his residence after a lengthy illness.
Bob was born on November 24, 1935 in South Bend, IN., to the late Fred and Donnabelle (Ameigh) Wegner.
Bob is survived by his significant other, Suk Ashe, his children; Wendy Wegner-Smelser (Jim), Rich Wegner, Bob Wegner (Margie) and Dana Wegner, grandchildren; Jennifer, Jamie, Nicole, Jordan, Haiden, Khatrina, Maxine, Kaleb and Jordan, eleven great grandchildren and his sisters; Virginia Chamness, Barb Friedman and Norma Draves.
Bob attended Riley High School and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corp. March 24, 1958. Bob was owner and operator of the Wander Inn in Mishawaka from 1981 until 2017.
Cremation will take place with a celebration of life to take place at a later date.
Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka is assisting the family.
